Brian became certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) in March of 2017. TPI is dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. Brian is one of only three Golf Professionals at a private facility in the Tri-State area with this certification. The TPI certification enables Brian to perform a physical screening to identity players’ limitations. The screens consist of 15 mobility and stability tests that target different areas of the body, starting with the ankles and moving up to the cervical spine. Identifying a dysfunction or compensation in one of these areas may directly affect one or all of the TPI recognized swing characteristics.

The initial screening will include a full physical screen, a full swing evaluation, an understanding on the importance of the body and how it relates to the golf swing, consultation on fitness training, swing mechanics, and other treatment if necessary. Please allow one hour for this comprehensive evaluation. All follow-up screenings will be 45 minutes in duration.
